SURF SITES
Riveresque - This looks like a really cool place to stay. It's a luxurious Balinese style house amongst the trees, just 10 minutes drive from the beach at Margaret River. It's owned by Di and Rob Conneeley. Rob was a young dude at Uluwatu in Morning of the Earth.
Switch-Foot - A website dedicated to the artistic side of surfing. The site features Vol 2 of the Switch-Foot books by Andrew Crockett, full of interviews with surfers, photos from the archives and surf art. You can get it through this site and 'real' surf shops around the country (including our factory shop).
Kurungabaa - 'A journal of literature, history and ideas for surfers'. A really good alternative surf magazine - no adds at all - just interesting stuff to read from people around the globe and a featured artist of some kind (photos, paintings etc.) each edition. The website is also a cool interactive space.
Odyssey Surf School - Providing surf lessons in Bali for beginners and intermediate, young and old, at good prices. What a cool place to take a few lessons!
Club of
Waves - This is a cool UK based website that has lots of information
about surfing culture and history, including profiles of artists and photographers.
The aim of the site is to create a global online surfing community where
people can find out about surfing and share their experiences and knowledge.
Sean Davey
Photography - Sean is an old Tassie mate and now one of the
best surf photographers in the world. His work is featured in all the
top magazines. Check out his stuff. You can also see some of his Tassie
